MARK2는 MAP/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 2 isoform a (Homo sapiens)로 알려져 있으며, EMK (ELKL Motif Kinase) 계열은 세포 극성, 미세소관 안정성 및 암 발생 조절에 관여합니다.
MARK3는 DNA 손상 유도 표지자로 확인되었으며, 췌장암 발생 시 발현이 감소하는 것으로 보고되었습니다. MARK4는 N-말단 ser/thr kinase 도메인, 중앙 ubiquitin 관련 도메인, C-말단 KA1 kinase 도메인을 포함하며, 간세포암에서 발현이 증가하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
