- This antibody does not detect endogenous levels of Fe65.

- The immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 352–369 from mouse Fe65 (Cat. # PEP-200), available for neutralization and control experiments.
Target Information
The Fe65 protein is a nuclear adaptor protein that interacts with Alzheimer’s disease amyloid precursor protein (APP), transcription factor CP2/LSF/LBP1, and low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein. APP serves as a cytosolic anchoring site preventing Fe65 nuclear translocation. Fe65 may play a role in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis, transcriptional regulation, and cell cycle control through thymidylate synthase downregulation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
