This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) links transcriptional regulation directly to intracellular energetics and participates in coordination of several cellular functions such as cell cycle, DNA damage response, metabolism, apoptosis, and autophagy.
SIRT1 modulates chromatin function through deacetylation of histones and promotes changes in histone and DNA methylation, leading to transcriptional repression.
It is essential in skeletal muscle cell differentiation and mediates inhibitory effects under low nutrient conditions involving AMPK and NAMPT.
