Target Information
CD21 (complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체 분해 산물과 결합하며, 면역복합체의 흡수 및 유지, 기억 B세포 생존, T-의존 항원에 대한 체액성 면역 반응 발달 및 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 Epstein-Barr 바이러스의 결합 수용체로 작용하며, 프리온을 여포성 수지상세포로 표적화하고 신경 침투를 촉진하는 데 관여합니다.
CD21은 C3d, C3dg, iC3b 보체 성분, EBV 및 IFNα의 수용체로 기능하며, CD23과 결합하고 CD19, CD81, Leu13과 연관되어 B세포 활성화에 관여하는 신호전달 복합체를 형성합니다. CD21 유전자 변이는 전신성 홍반루푸스 9형(SLEB9) 감수성과 관련이 있습니다. 다양한 스플라이싱 변형체가 보고되어 있으며, 각각 다른 아이소폼을 암호화합니다.
