Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Claudin 1–8 proteins are transmembrane proteins associated with tight junctions, which act as molecular gaskets preventing leakage of ions and water between cells.
They are abundant in epithelial tissues and maintain cell polarity.
Differential expression of Claudin 3 has been observed in various malignancies including breast, ovarian, liver, urinary, prostate, lung, head and neck, and thyroid cancers.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
