Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The galectins are a family of β-galactoside-binding proteins involved in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions.
LGALS3BP levels are elevated in the serum of cancer and HIV-infected patients. It is implicated in immune responses associated with NK and LAK cell cytotoxicity.
The full-length 90K cDNA has been localized to chromosome 17q25. The native protein binds specifically to a human macrophage-associated lectin (Mac-2) and galectin 1.
