Target Information
CD206 (MSR, Mannose receptor, MRC1)은 175 kDa의 막관통 단백질로, 패턴 인식 수용체 그룹에 속합니다. 주로 조직 대식세포, 수지상세포, 일부 내피세포 및 정자 세포에서 발현됩니다.
CD206은 선천적 및 적응 면역 반응에 관여하며, 변형된 지질단백질, advanced glycation end products (AGEs), 아밀로이드 β 단백질(Abeta) 등의 인식 및 흡수를 매개합니다.
정상적인 역할은 세포 부착 및 숙주 방어 메커니즘과 관련되어 있으나, 죽상동맥경화증 및 알츠하이머병(AD)에서의 아밀로이드 β 침착에도 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
CD206 유전자는 대식세포 scavenger receptor class A를 암호화하며, 대체 스플라이싱에 의해 세 가지 이소폼(1, 2, 3)을 생성합니다.
- Type 1, 2는 기능적 수용체로 변형된 LDL의 엔도사이토시스를 매개함
- Type 3은 내강망에 머물러 엔도사이토시스를 수행하지 못하며, 다른 이소폼의 기능을 억제하는 음성 조절자로 작용함
CD206 기능 이상은 나병(leprosy) 및 고셔병(Gaucher’s disease) 등과 관련이 있습니다.
