Target Information
MAP3K14 (NIK)는 MAP3Ks와 구조적으로 관련되어 있으며, CHUK (IKKα)와 IKBKB (IKKβ)를 인산화 및 활성화시켜 IkB-α를 인산화함으로써 NF-KappaB를 방출하고 염증 반응 유전자 발현을 유도합니다.
이 키나아제는 TRAF2와 결합하여 NF-kappaB 활성을 자극하며, 여러 MAPKK 키나아제와 서열 유사성을 공유합니다.
TNF/NGF 수용체 및 interleukin-1 type-I 수용체의 공통 NF-kappaB 유도 신호 전달 경로에 참여합니다.
