Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TCEAL1 (Transcription Elongation Factor A (SII) Protein 3), also known as p21, SIIR, or pp21, is a member of the TFS-II family.
Transcription elongation factors of this family release RNA polymerase II (Pol II) from transcriptional arrest by activating its intrinsic RNA cleavage activity.
This mechanism allows RNA polymerase to cleave the nascent transcript and resume elongation.
TCEAL1 is a 157-amino acid nuclear protein expressed ubiquitously and may function through protein-protein interactions with transcriptional regulators rather than direct DNA binding.
