Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TCEAL1 (Transcription elongation factor A (SII) protein 3), also known as p21, SIIR, or pp21, belongs to the TFS-II family. Members of this family help release RNA polymerase II from transcriptional arrest by activating its intrinsic RNA cleavage activity. This process enables the polymerase to cleave the nascent transcript and resume elongation.
TCEAL1 is a 157 amino acid nuclear protein expressed ubiquitously and may function through protein-protein interactions with transcriptional regulators rather than direct DNA binding.
