Target Information
LIMK1은 cofilin의 인산화를 통해 actin 세포골격 변화를 조절하는 serine/threonine kinase입니다.
뇌 발달에도 관여하며, LIM 도메인은 2개의 zinc finger를 포함하는 보존된 구조로 단백질-단백질 상호작용을 매개합니다.
LIM kinase-1과 LIM kinase-2는 두 개의 N-terminal LIM motif와 C-terminal kinase domain을 가진 소수의 하위 패밀리에 속합니다.
LIMK1은 세포 내 신호전달 경로의 구성 요소로, 뇌 발달 및 Williams 증후군의 인지 기능 장애와 관련이 있습니다.
