This antibody detects endogenous levels of total RGS14 protein.

Target Information

RGS14 is a member of the regulator of G-protein signaling family containing one RGS domain, two Raf-like Ras-binding domains (RBDs), and one GoLoco domain. It attenuates G-protein signaling by acting as a GTPase activating protein (GAP), facilitating conversion of GTP to GDP and termination of signal transduction. RGS14 also modulates microtubule polymerization, spindle organization, cell division, and NGF-mediated neurite outgrowth, and may be involved in visual memory processing and hippocampal learning.
