Target Information
이 유전자는 adenovirus E1A 단백질의 C-말단과 결합하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 해당 인산화 단백질은 전사 억제 인자로 작용하며 세포 증식 과정에 관여할 수 있습니다. 이 단백질과 유사 유전자인 CTBP2의 산물은 이합체를 형성할 수 있으며, 발달 중 유전자 발현 조절에 참여하는 polycomb group 단백질 복합체와 상호작용할 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
