• In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-17F, mouse IL-17, IL-17B, IL-17C, IL-17D, and IL-17E is observed.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

IL-17F (Interleukin 17F, CTLA-8) is a cytokine belonging to the IL-17 family, produced by activated T cells, mast cells, and basophils. It plays a key role in allergic airway inflammation and induces cytokines, chemokines, and adhesion molecules in various cell types including bronchial epithelial and endothelial cells.
IL-17F acts through the IL-17R receptor to recruit monocytes and neutrophils, enhancing chemokine production. It also stimulates TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-8 expression, contributing to chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and multiple sclerosis.
IL-17F is secreted as a homodimer or heterodimer with IL-17A, and is highly expressed by activated effector memory T cells. It has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis and induce IL2, TGFB1/TGFB, and MCP-1 production in endothelial cells.
