Target Information
C1-inhibitor (C1INH) regulates activation of the classical complement pathway and the contact activation system of kinin generation and coagulation.
Primary target proteinases include C1r, C1s, coagulation factors XIa and XIIa, and plasma kallikrein.
C1-inhibitor consists of a single polypeptide chain with a molecular mass of approximately 104 kDa. Serum concentration is about 180 µg/mL.
