Target Information
STAT6 단백질은 사이토카인, 특히 interleukin-4(IL-4)와 IL-13에 의해 활성화되는 전사 인자입니다. STAT6 결핍 마우스에서는 Th2 helper T-cell 분화, 세포 표면 마커 발현, T-cell 증식, IgE로의 면역글로불린 클래스 전환 등 IL-4 매개 기능이 저하되었습니다. STAT6 mRNA는 다양한 조직(림프구, 대장, 난소, 전립선, 흉선, 비장, 신장, 간, 폐, 태반 등)에서 검출되며, Th2 면역 반응에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다. STAT6는 IL-4 매개 생물학적 반응에 필수적이며, STAT6a 및 STAT6c 두 가지 isoform으로 존재합니다.
