Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades that regulate cell growth and differentiation. It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, membrane depolarization, and calcium influx. Mek1 activation occurs via phosphorylation at serine 218 and 222 residues by Raf1. It plays roles in stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation. Mutations in MAP2K1 are associated with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
