Target Information
The SWI-SNF complex is involved in transcription activation via ATP-dependent nucleosome remodeling. Brm (SNF2α) and Brg-1 (SNF2β) serve as ATPase subunits. The functional core includes Brm, Brg-1, Ini1 (SNF5), BAF155 (SRG3), and BAF170. Ini1, BAF155, and BAF170 enhance remodeling activity, while other subunits have regulatory roles. hSNF2L and hSNF2H are homologs of Drosophila ISWI, associated with chromatin remodeling complexes such as NURF.
