For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve an antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information

The DnaJ family comprises a large group of chaperone proteins with diverse cellular localizations and functions. The J domain defines membership in this family.
DnaJ proteins, regulated by the htpR protein in E. coli, interact with HSP70 to stimulate ATP hydrolysis and contain cysteine-rich zinc finger regions forming peptide-binding domains for chaperone activity.
These proteins are key mediators of proteolysis, protein degradation regulation, exocytosis, and endocytosis.
DNAJB2 (DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 2), also known as HSJ1 or HSPF3, is predominantly expressed in the brain, particularly in the frontal cortex and hippocampus. Two isoforms are produced via alternative splicing.
