NALP7(PYPAF3로도 알려짐)은 PYRIN 도메인을 포함한 APAF1 유사 단백질(PYPAFs/NALPs) 계열의 구성원으로, 세포 증식 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
NALP7은 C-말단 leucine-rich repeat (LRR) 영역, N-말단 Pyrin domain (PYD), NACHT 도메인 및 NACHT-associated 도메인을 포함합니다.
자궁과 난소 등 다양한 조직에서 발현되며, 심장과 뇌에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
NALP7은 caspase-1 의존적 interleukin-1β 분비를 억제하며, interleukin-1β의 피드백 조절 인자로 작용합니다.
NALP7 유전자 결함은 hydatidiform mole(HYDM) 형성과 암세포 성장 저하와 관련이 있습니다.
