    Zinc finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and function in transcriptional activation or repression. Most zinc finger proteins possess a Krüppel-type DNA-binding domain and a KRAB domain, which interacts with KAP1 to recruit histone-modifying proteins.
    ZNF358 (zinc finger protein 358) is a 481 amino acid nuclear protein with nine C2H2-type zinc fingers, involved in DNA binding and transcriptional regulation.
