This affinity purified antibody specifically recognizes the FLAG™ epitope tag (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys) fused to either the amino- or carboxy-terminus of target proteins. Useful for detecting FLAG-tagged proteins in transfected or transformed cells across various assays.

Target Information

DYKDDDDK tag (FLAG tag) is an eight-amino-acid peptide (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys) used as a protein tag for purification, detection, and localization. It can be fused to the N- or C-terminus of proteins, allowing easy identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies.
Widely used in molecular biology and biochemistry for:

• Protein-protein interaction studies
• Protein expression analysis
• Protein localization studies
