Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Directed against human FIP3 protein. A BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with Rab11 protein from mouse based on approximately 92% protein homology over the immunizing sequence region. Reactivity against homologues from other species is not known.
Target Information
Proteins of the large Rab GTPase family have regulatory roles in the formation, targeting, and fusion of intracellular transport vesicles. RAB11FIP3 is one of many proteins that interact with and regulate Rab GTPases (Hales et al., 2001).
