This antibody is directed against mouse TrkCT1 protein. BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with TrkCT1 protein from human, mouse, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Reactivity with homologues from other species is not known.
Target Information
NTRK3 (TRKC) belongs to the neurotrophic factor family, essential for development and maintenance of the mammalian nervous system. Known substrates include SHC, PI-3 kinase, and PLCG1. Isoforms differ in signaling properties, and expression is predominant in nervous tissue. Isoform B is more abundant in adult brain than fetal brain. TRKC undergoes ligand-mediated auto-phosphorylation and contains two immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains and two leucine-rich (LRR) repeats.
