Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
The EXOC4 protein is a component of the exocyst complex, which is essential for targeting exocytic vesicles to specific docking sites on the plasma membrane.
This complex is conserved across eukaryotes and interacts with actin cytoskeletal remodeling and vesicle transport machinery.
It also plays a crucial role in the biogenesis of epithelial cell surface polarity.
Alternate transcriptional splice variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
