Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Paxillin is a focal adhesion protein and a substrate for several tyrosine kinases such as Src, FAK, and p210BRC/ABL. Its tyrosine phosphorylation is influenced by changes in cell-cell adhesion. Paxillin associates tightly with FAK and Crk through its SH2 domain, independent of the extracellular matrix. Although initially identified in fibroblasts, paxillin phosphorylation also plays a role in neurite extension during differentiation.
