Reconstitution:

• Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

NIPA2 encodes a protein that functions as a selective Mg²⁺ transporter. The gene is located adjacent to the imprinted domain in the Prader-Willi syndrome deletion region of chromosome 15. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes are found on chromosomes 3, 7, and 21.
Diseases associated with NIPA2 include Angelman Syndrome and Prader-Willi Syndrome.
