Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody is supplied as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

The LETM1 gene encodes a protein localized to the inner mitochondrial membrane.
This protein maintains mitochondrial tubular shape and is essential for normal mitochondrial morphology and cellular viability.
Mutations in this gene cause Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a complex malformation syndrome resulting from deletions on the distal short arm of chromosome 4.
Related pseudogenes exist on chromosomes 8, 15, and 19.
