Product Specific Information
- Description: Rat IgG2b kappa monoclonal antibody useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested on human peripheral blood and mouse bone marrow cells. Use at same concentration as experimental antibody.
- Fluorochrome: Brilliant Violet™ 711 (BV711) emits at 713 nm, optimized for cytometers with a 405 nm violet laser.
- Buffer Recommendation: When using multiple polymer dyes (Super Bright, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
- Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to avoid photo-induced oxidation.
- Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C. Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.
