Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MSMB protein belongs to the immunoglobulin binding factor family. It is synthesized by epithelial cells of the prostate gland and secreted into seminal plasma. This protein exhibits inhibin-like activity and may function as an autocrine or paracrine factor in uterine, breast, and other female reproductive tissues. Expression levels are decreased in prostate cancer. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described, and alternate polyadenylation sites are also reported for this gene.
