Target Information
Sin1은 S. pombe SIN1의 인간 상동체로 처음 확인되었습니다. 이후 연구에서 MEKK2와 상호작용하는 Mip1과 동일한 단백질로 밝혀졌습니다. MAPKAP1은 MEKK2의 활성화 및 이합체 형성을 억제하여 비활성 MEKK2 복합체를 형성함으로써 JNK1/2, ERK1/2, p38, ERK5 MAPK 경로를 차단하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 MAPKAP1은 TOR 신호 전달 과정에서 세포 성장과 증식을 조절하는 역할을 하며, TOR/rictor 복합체의 유지에 관여합니다. 이 복합체는 Akt의 특이적 인산화를 가능하게 하여 성장인자-PI3K 신호 경로를 영양 조절 TOR 신호 경로와 연결합니다. MAPKAP1에는 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱된 이소폼이 존재합니다.
