Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MTF1 gene encodes a transcription factor that regulates the expression of metallothioneins and other genes involved in metal homeostasis in response to heavy metals such as cadmium, zinc, copper, and silver.
This nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein accumulates in the nucleus upon heavy metal exposure and binds to promoters containing a metal-responsive element (MRE).
