For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SENP8 (Cysteine protease FKSG8; DEN1; FKSG8; HsT17512; NEDP1; PRSC2; SUMO/sentrin specific protease family member 8) is a cysteine protease belonging to the ULP family of deubiquitinases.
ULP family members contain a C-terminal core catalytic domain and N-terminal extensions that determine substrate specificity.
SENP8 (24 kDa) plays a major role in regulating the NEDD8 pathway by processing preNEDD8 to its mature form and deconjugating NEDD8 from substrates such as Cullins and p53.
It may prevent accumulation of hyper-neddylated cullin and maintain mono-neddylated cullin levels, enhancing ubiquitination efficiency by SCF ubiquitin ligases.
