Target Information
Adenine nucleotide translocator (ANT) and voltage-dependent anion-selective channel proteins (VDAC1, VDAC2) are components of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore complex (PTPC). The formation of PTPCs and subsequent dissipation of mitochondrial inner membrane potential are critical in apoptosis. ANT1 maintains mitochondrial DNA by catalyzing ADP/ATP exchange across the inner membrane.
