SIGIRR (single Ig IL-1R-related molecule)은 interleukin 1 receptor (IL-1R) superfamily의 새로운 구성원입니다.
IL-1R 및 Toll superfamily의 보존된 모티프를 공유하지만, 구조적 및 기능적으로는 구별됩니다.
SIGIRR은 세포외 영역에 단일 Ig 도메인을 가지며, IL-1R 패밀리의 세 개의 Ig fold와는 다릅니다.
비정상적으로 긴 세포질 도메인은 Drosophila Toll의 구조를 연상시키지만, SIGIRR 펩타이드 서열은 IL-1RI와 더 밀접한 관련이 있습니다.
SIGIRR의 세포내 도메인을 IL-1R 세포외 도메인과 융합한 키메라 단백질은 다른 IL-1R 관련 분자의 융합 단백질과 달리 NFκB를 활성화하지 않았습니다.
