Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
Annexin I belongs to a family of Ca²⁺-dependent phospholipid binding proteins located on the cytosolic face of the plasma membrane. It has a molecular mass of 40 kDa and exhibits phospholipase A2 inhibitory activity. As phospholipase A2 is essential for the biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, Annexin I may possess anti-inflammatory properties.
