• For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
• For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The ASS1 gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the penultimate step of the arginine biosynthetic pathway. Approximately 10–14 copies of this gene, including pseudogenes, exist across the human genome. The functional copy is located on chromosome 9, and mutations in this gene cause citrullinemia. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
