Target Information
GATA3는 T세포 수용체(TCR) α, β, γ, δ 사슬 유전자 발현을 조절하는 전사인자로, 각 TCR 유전자의 enhancer 요소에 결합하는 enhancer-binding protein입니다.
Marine과 Winoto(1991)는 GATA3가 모든 TCR 유전자 enhancer에 결합함을 확인하여 공통 조절 요소로서의 역할을 제시했습니다.
GATA3는 아연 손가락(zinc finger) 도메인을 포함하며, 주로 T세포 계통에서 발현되어 TCR 유전자 활성화에 관여합니다.
인간 GATA3 유전자는 6개의 엑손으로 구성되어 있으며, 두 개의 아연 손가락 구조는 GATA1과 높은 상동성을 보입니다.
