Epsin2는 클라트린이 코팅된 함입부 및 엔도사이토시스 형성에 관여합니다. EPS15(NPF 반복 도메인), AP-2 및 클라트린(DPW 반복 도메인)과 결합합니다. 세포질 내 클라트린 코팅 소포와 관련된 점상 구조에 존재하며, 특히 골지 복합체 주변에서 농축되어 있습니다. 뇌에서 가장 높은 발현을 보이며, 폐와 간에서 낮은 수준으로 검출됩니다.
