Target Information
Cardiac Troponin I (Cardiac-specific troponin I, TnI, Troponin I)는 심근 특이적 억제 단백질로, Troponin C(TnC), Troponin T(TnT)와 복합체를 형성하여 근육 수축 조절에 관여합니다.
칼슘이 TnC에 결합하면 TnI의 억제 부위가 actin으로부터 해제되어 myosin의 결합이 가능해지고, 근육 수축이 일어납니다.
혈중 TnI 및 TnT 농도 측정은 심근 손상 진단(협심증과 심근경색 구분)에 중요한 지표로 사용됩니다.
또한 Cardiac Troponin I는 혈관신생 억제 효과가 있으며, 유전자 변이는 가족성 비대성 심근병증(CMH7)과 제한성 심근병증(RCM)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
