Target Information
Thrombopoietin (TPO, THPO, MPL ligand, megakaryocyte colony-stimulating factor)는 조혈세포 중 거핵세포 계열로 분화된 세포에 작용하여 혈소판 생성을 유도하는 단백질입니다. TPO가 수용체 MPL(CD110)에 결합하면 JAK/STAT, MAPK, PI3K/AKT 신호 경로를 통해 거핵세포의 증식과 분화를 유도하며, 결과적으로 혈소판 생성(thrombopoiesis)을 촉진합니다. Thrombopoietin은 간에서 지속적으로 생성되며, 예측 분자량은 약 38 kDa입니다.
