Target Information
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) are membrane proteins with seven transmembrane domains that transduce extracellular signals via heterotrimeric G proteins.
GPR43 belongs to the carboxylic acid subfamily and is mainly expressed in immune cells such as monocytes and neutrophils.
An expressed sequence tag (EST) has been isolated from a human pancreatic library.
