Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), Transforming Growth Factor-α (TGF-α), Heparin-binding EGF (HB-EGF), amphiregulin, betacellulin, epiregulin과 결합합니다.
EGFR는 유방, 뇌, 방광, 폐, 위, 두경부, 식도, 자궁경부, 외음부, 난소, 자궁내막 등의 종양에서 과발현되며, 주로 편평상피세포암에서 발견됩니다.
