SCAMPs (Secretory Carrier Membrane Proteins)는 막 단백질로, 막 수송 과정에 관여하며 광범위하게 분포되어 있습니다. 대부분의 SCAMPs(예: SCAMP1)는 N-말단의 NPF 반복 서열, 4개의 중심 막관통 영역, 짧은 C-말단 세포질 꼬리를 가지고 있습니다. 이러한 NPF 반복 서열은 내포작용(endocytosis)에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 반면 SCAMP4는 NPF 반복 서열이 없어 내포작용에는 관여하지 않는 것으로 보입니다.
