For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD79a is a disulfide-linked heterodimer that includes the B29 (CD79b) polypeptide. It functions as part of the B lymphocyte antigen receptor complex, associating with Ig-alpha and Ig-beta, which are essential for B-cell receptor expression and signaling.
CD79a expression begins at the pre-B cell stage and continues until the plasma cell stage, where it is found intracellularly. It is present in most precursor B-cell acute leukemias, B-cell lines, B-cell lymphomas, and some myelomas, but absent in myeloid or T-cell lines.
Diseases associated with CD79a include Agammaglobulinemia 3 and Agammaglobulinemia, Non-Bruton type.
