Target Information
RAG2 (V(D)J recombination-activating protein 2)는 RAG 복합체의 핵심 구성 요소로, V(D)J 재조합 중 DNA 절단 단계를 매개합니다. 이 과정은 B 및 T 림프구의 발달 중 다양한 면역글로불린 및 T세포 수용체 유전자의 조합을 가능하게 합니다.
RAG 복합체는 두 단계의 DNA 절단 반응을 수행하며, chromatin 구조와 H3K4me3 히스톤 변형은 이 반응을 조절합니다.
RAG2는 촉매 활성을 직접 담당하지 않지만 RAG1에 의해 매개되는 모든 촉매 활동에 필수적입니다.
RAG2 유전자 변이는 면역 결핍, 중증 복합 면역결핍증(SCID), Omenn 증후군 등과 관련될 수 있습니다.
