Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Heterogeneous nuclear RNAs (hnRNAs), including mRNA precursors and mature mRNAs, associate with specific proteins to form heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complexes.
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L (HNRNPL) is one of the stable components of these complexes and plays a key role in mRNA formation, packaging, processing, and function.
HNRNPL is mainly localized in the nucleoplasm but can also be found outside it. hnRNP proteins shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm, suggesting potential cytoplasmic roles.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
