Target Information
TNF alpha는 종양괴사인자(TNF) 슈퍼패밀리에 속하는 다기능성 염증성 사이토카인으로, 주로 대식세포에 의해 분비되며 TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 및 TNFRSF1B/TNFBR 수용체에 결합합니다.
면역세포 조절, 세포 증식, 분화, 세포사멸, 지질대사, 응고 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 관여합니다.
TNF alpha는 비환원 조건 SDS-PAGE에서 약 17 kDa의 단일 밴드로 나타나며, 2~5개의 비공유 결합된 단위체로 존재합니다.
마우스 knockout 연구에서 신경 보호 기능이 제시되었으며, 종양 생쥐에 주사 시 종양괴사를 유도하는 것으로 관찰되었습니다.
또한 TNF alpha는 세균, 바이러스, 기생충, 특정 진균 감염에 대한 면역 반응 및 특정 종양의 괴사에 관여하며, interferon-gamma와 함께 세포독성을 나타냅니다.
자가면역질환, 인슐린 저항성, 암 등 다양한 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
