Target Information
EDG-3는 lysophospholipid를 리간드로 하는 G-단백질 결합 수용체(GPCR) 계열에 속합니다. EDG-3의 리간드는 sphingosine-1-phosphate(S1P)이며, EDG 수용체 패밀리는 총 8개의 멤버로 구성되어 있습니다. 이들은 세포 증식 유도, 분화 및 생존 조절, 세포사 억제 등 성장 관련 기능에 관여합니다. 또한 수축, 분비, 부착, 화학주성 등 세포골격 반응에 기반한 세포 효과 기능을 유도합니다. EDG 수용체는 발달 단계에 따라 발현이 조절되며, 조직 분포가 다릅니다. 여러 종류의 G 단백질과 결합하여 ras, MAP kinase, rho, phospholipase C, protein tyrosine kinase 경로를 통해 신호를 전달합니다. EDG-3는 심혈관계, 백혈구 포함 조직 등 다양한 조직에서 발현됩니다.
