For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a protein present at the cell surface. The N-terminus has sequence similarity to human cAMP-dependent protein kinase A (PKA) type II alpha regulatory subunit (RIIa), while the C-terminus contains an IQ calmodulin-binding motif.
The central region includes carbohydrate-binding motifs and is involved in cell-cell adhesion. Initially identified for its role in sperm binding to the zona pellucida, SPA17 also participates in immune cell migration and metastasis. A retrotransposed pseudogene is located on chromosome 10q22.
